I am a driven artist and events manager, with 5 years experience within the music industry. I have a proven track record of success including curating and managing sold out global DJ events, managing a residency at Sankeys Ibiza, and breaking through a new artists, including EP and LP releases which reached no. 1 on Beatport overall charts. Working with leading music artists, and party brands to design and execute long term artist development, brand building, touring, production, viewer acquisition, subscription, content development, content monetization, social marketing, merchandising, product design and direct to consumer strategies. Past clients include: Audiofly, Emanuel Satie, DJ T., and the global party brand Flying Circus. - Managing the booking strategy and musical identity of international DJ events. I worked extensively with artists, agents and promoters from curating and booking events, sourcing venues, negotiating fees, booking and contracting acts and managing the team to ensure we hit targets with ticket sales and the events were successful financially, visually and to attend. - Providing leadership, advice and creative planning to develop the artists brand and career through managing the visual and musical identity, identifying opportunities with on-line and print press and radio, - Managing release schedules and promotional strategies for in house brands, ensuring the individual artist’s PR requirements were catered for, as well as the overall development of the brand. Through targeted and well-placed promo and press, the label had many successes including its first LP release, which went direct to the top 10 overall charts at Beatport for 3 consecutive weeks and sold out events with international press coverage. - Managing all direct media efforts including brand integration, brand consulting, co-ordinating interviews with media and clients, managing media at events, directing and producing photo shoots and managing web site and Social Networking sites. - Implementing and managing detailed touring budgets including financial forecasting and P&L management, by acting as a bridge within the artists team consisting of their agents, accountants and contractors to ensure we hit our monthly income targets and stayed within budget on events and campaigns. - Producing detailed itineraries and where applicable handling logistics – booking travel and accommodation - organising the artists technical and hospitality riders and artist visas.
As Business Manager I was responsible for managing our acts business affairs, and handling a range of financial matters. I managed the liaison between senior management, contractors and our artists to ensure proper lines of communications were kept, to aid in addressing a myriad of problems and issues, requiring immediate attention and resolve.
