As the Marketing Manager I am responsible for all aspects of the brand and creating an international marketing strategy for the Sherlock taxi solution. I closely support the sales team, head the customer community, identify growth opportunities, plan resource and support the global go-to-market launch.
Marketing management, including; strategy, social media, print, brand development, PR, SEO, event management, customer relations, POS, promotional items, advertising and communications. During my first year at Fluidata I produced the first Brand Guidelines, introduced a customer rating system, applied for and won numerous awards including The Queens Award for Enterprise in Innovation 2014, and managed a complete re-brand focusing on the company’s new direction, while building my entrepreneur/Managing Directors' media profile. Further projects include creating a new website to improve the users experience (UX) and directing much needed corporate photography. While at Fluidata I had the opportunity to work with media such as the BBC, The Financial Times, The Telegraph and the Guardian. As well as some of its lovely customers; Carluccio's, Sony, TM Lewin, Land Security and Crowe Clark Whitehill.
The National catalogue team has given me the opportunity to be a part of the catalogue process and numerous side projects from free standing booklets, a national rebrand launch, commercials and numerous photo shoots. As well as liaising with external photography and production companies. I have completed and finalised over 56 weekly catalogues consisting of 20-42pages, distributing over 7.2 million copies each week through all states and territories. I independently identify and actively seek cost savings within the processes and photography shoots/retouching. While coordinating ambient photography with creative direction on over 15 stylised food and long-life ambient studio shoots. Participating in customer focus groups to retain insight information was a highlight and I strongly enjoyed using my personal input on creative, copy writing, legal requirements and creating strong professional relationships. Training staff for and beyond my position using personal actions to identify and develop and retain talent was a passion of mine and I effectively managed relationships between M&C Saatchi, Wellcom, promotional coordinators, business team members and marketing team members.
Local marketing taught me the basis of general marketing such as press, indoor/outdoor advertising, event management, process of new store openings, family fun days and other activities to create PR and market awareness. I perfected to ensure that all deadlines were met; all creative changes, region feedback and meeting notes are identified and reviewed into material across all areas. I thoroughly enjoyed managing new store activities with the regions and flagging high profile stores to attend store and competitor launches to ensure we are market leaders. I achieved complete ownership of planning, booking and executing Ad Hoc projects, devised and implemented new ideas and built strong relationships with the regions while managing the production of numerous catalogue and seasonal events.
