    Abstract Expressionism Art Activity - Feeling Our FeelingsGestural Mark-Making Cy Twombly Understudy: This project was part of a 4-week dive into Abstract Expressionism. We studied the work of several artists within this movement. We learned about charging emotion into a work of art rather than thought. This activity is suitable for all ages and those with hand dexterity.

After introducing some examples of Cy Twombly, students were given only the following set of instructions: 1. Connect two different sides of the page with a line of your choice. 2. I have focused on areas such as cultural competency, decolonizing the curriculum, ethnocentricity awareness, interactive art engagement, inquiry-based learning, conflict resolution, and disability inclusion education.
