I am an incredibly driven, enthusiastic and confident individual with an unwavering drive to succeed. Throughout my academic career I have achieved consistently high grades, culminating in a First Class Honours degree from the LSE in Social Anthropology. My passion for learning continued with my Masters program in the Anthropology of Travel and Tourism at the School of Oriental and African studies. Studying Anthropology has given me a unique insight and appreciation of various societies around the world. Through heightening my awareness of cultural difference, I have come to develop a well-informed understanding of social behavior, customs, and norms. This has enhanced my ability to communicate with and understand people from many diverse backgrounds. I am naturally intuitive and receptive to new ideas, with my degree program sharpening this focus by exposing the scope and complexity of human and consumer behavior. My current position at Canvas8 involves researching trends and consumer behaviour and writing detailed case studies and reports on my findings. I have developed strong analytical and research skills in this role and worked with senior researchers on client presentations. During my internship at the Telegraph, I was able to experience working with both the Sales and Advertising team and the Editorial team, Spark. As part of my work with Spark, I had to research, collate and summarise data for a vast array of articles dealing with topics such as Postgraduate education and TV chefs. In addition I was responsible for proofreading and editing articles that were soon to be published in the Telegraph. This internship provided me with valuable journalism experience and I was delighted to be asked back by the editorial team to do another internship. As part of my internship at “Lodestone Communications”, I was tasked with collating and summarising all of the media coverage for Lodestones various clients and formulating this into a weekly review. This took place after a large newsworthy event, so researching all related media was incredibly extensive and time consuming. I managed to complete each review ahead of schedule to ensure that all clients received the appropriate coverage. Following the early completion of the aforementioned tasks, I was allowed to work on developing my own ideas and working independently to complete them. Following the success of their “RegistHERtovote” campaign in the wake of the general election, I decided to create step by step guides explaining how and why people should vote in the up and coming Labour and Mayoral elections. I circulated these guides via social media and published them on the companies website. I am consistently focused and bring infectious energy and enthusiasm to any task I am given. I will constantly work hard to deliver what is both expected of me and strive to exceed all expectations. I am a team player and naturally confident, with the ability to support and encourage those around me.
