About me
Hi! I'm Ella, a 23 year old graduate from the London College of Music (2016) with a BA First Class Honours in Music Management. I've most recently been working as a Marketing Assistant at Island Records, Universal Music UK.
After achieving my degree, the end goal has always been to pursue a way into the music industry, and carving out a career within an area that interests and fulfils me the most. Having a natural flare for creative campaigns, social media, writing and promotions, my intentions are for it to be based within these area of expertise. Although I am more than interested in attaining as much diverse experience in different departments as possible. My ambitions for my career are to continue to pursue this goal, with a company I can connect with and contribute to!

The role of a Marketing intern/assistant at Island Records UK was to work closely with the Marketing team to assist and provide support in all aspects of the marketing process. This role has given me the experience to completely immerse myself within all aspects of a major record label, working not only with the Marketing team but being a point person for everyone involved with the label, from A&R, to Promo to Design, Digital and assisting on company events. I would liaise with clients, Management, external and internal colleagues. Co-ordinate planning meetings, deliver the correct content to business partners, maintain marketing campaign assets, research into our artists, and be across the growth of a campaign.
