About me
I am a London based artist with a BA (Hons) in Costume design For Theatre & Performance, from the University of Arts, London (UAL). Exploring a more preferred route, I now wish to pursue a career in photography.
Having grown up battling poor mental health and a recent ADHD diagnosis, it is vital that I find serenity within daily life. I use documentary diary-style photography, as a way to escape the noise of the city and capture feelings of calmness within my surroundings.
My work explores abstract subject matter, which allows the viewer naturally to pause and reflect. I hope that by using unique perspectives, a viewer will ponder on stressful situations which arise in their own lives and perhaps look at them, from a different angle.
My most recent collection, ‘Sweet Dreams’ evokes an enchanting and daydream-like quality. I am currently building an online shop where I sell my prints, which I hope to continue expanding in the future.
Recently I have shown my work in the UAL Graduate Showcase and have received exciting opportunities to exhibit my work in spaces across Europe.
Projects
- Sweet DreamsCommuting in and out of London on a regular basis, I gradually became aware of the large number of people rushing from point A to point B, with no real time to appreciate the beauty surrounding them. With this in mind, I decided the central theme of my work would be around the notion of calmness within bustling cities. Wanting to capture a fantastical and enchanting aesthetic, I travelled to places within the U.K, which I thought could best fit into this theme.

During my degree, I followed the design path process, towards creating a costume. In the final months of my final year, I had the opportunity to create a self directed project. Through this, I was able to wholeheartedly focus on my love for photography again.
