Design and Admin AssistantReggie Designs LTD
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
I have previously worked for a fashion supplier company located in central London. My job role was the Design and Admin Assistant for the head designer of the company. Within my role I undertook tasks such as: sourcing trims and fabrics for sampling, drawing up designs on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, assisting in meetings with customers to discuss new designs and trends and preparing boards, working alongside the pattern cutter and garment technologists to ensure sampling runs smoothly, researching new trends and keeping up to date with the latest catwalks and high-street stores. As well as assisting the designer I also did the admin duties for the company. This role involves; answering any phone calls, liaising with customers, suppliers or anyone with any queries, booking and organizing parcels/boxes to be collected and received daily within the UK and internationally, answering the door and welcoming customers into the building, appearing as the first point of contact for the company and undertaking any other admin jobs when required. Both of these roles have allowed me to build my confidence and improve my customer communication skills to a professional level. I have expanded my knowledge both within the fashion industry and also with performing admin jobs.

BA (Hons) Fashion DesignSouthampton Solent University
     - Southampton, United Kingdom
I attended Southampton Solent University to study Fashion Design. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent learning and creating my own stuff, and developed my practical, written and communication skills to a professional standard. I have also expanded my knowledge of the Fashion Industry and the development that goes into each process. I was also particularly drawn to the illustration side of the course and used a range of mixed medias to create my sketches and final collection drawings. I still continue to use and enjoy my illustration skills in my own personal time. My time at university also gave me the opportunity to meet lots of new people and allowed me to become much more independent as a person. It has allowed me to express myself through designing and creating a final collection. I graduated from Southampton Solent University in July 2017 with a 2:1.
