    I currently work at a company called Not For Profit Business Services and we offer administration services to companies who aren’t for a profit. I currently have seven clients who I deal with on a daily basis. For one of my clients, I have to ensure that their student certificate process is all in order and is being followed and completed within the three day time frame. This also includes making sure that each of the students information and communications are up to date. For another one of my clients, I have to organise events. I have to send out emails to advertise the event and edit the website to show the event. Once the event is about to happen, I have to email the venue all the information to ensure they have name badges and any presentations required. Along with this, I have to attend meetings and take the minutes, and answering incoming and make outgoing phone calls. I also have to deal with all of the email boxes on a daily basis so the clients and customers get a rapid response.

    I worked at FIRA Service Technicians for five months as an administrator. My job role consisted of contacting customers to arrange a date for a technician to go out to resolve their issue, answer incoming calls from clients and customers, answering their questions and helping with their issues. I also had to complete reports for the customer, explaining what has happened in the visit and the outcome. As part of my role included dealing with customers who have complaints, and sometimes are angry, I had to apply empathy and understanding to their needs, whilst remaining good natured in a way that resolves the call to the satisfaction of the customer and also to FIRA policies. I was told I was very good at the multitasking side of the job. I was tasked with training three new employees and assist with their questions, whilst continuing to work my tasks in hand, including answering the incoming calls and completing them within the required time frame. When communicating with disgruntled customers, I was good at staying calm and making sure I am doing everything to fulfill their needs and wants.
