I am a graphic designer and an art historian living in London. I have always had a passion for art and design. My undergraduate degree in art history advanced my visual and critical analysis of various art practices, as well developed my historical and theoretical study. After I graduated I wanted to broaden my skills and I decided to complete a 3-month graphic design course at Shillington College. Throughout the course, I was immersed in everything related to design, engaging in a number of exciting briefs. I now look forward to working in the industry and expanding my knowledge and understanding.
I was responsible for producing the monthly newsletter, which informed our partners on upcoming content, events trending in the art world, and updates from all our partners. As well I assisted on the production of upcoming videos for the channel, working with the producer to create an informative but also an appealing video. In addition, continually working with new partners and assisting them to improve their YouTube channel. Throughout my experience, I was consistently updating various social media platforms in order to grow an audience and increase subscribers.
I held a temporary position during the summer vacation period at university. I worked for two weeks in 2013 and returned for a month in 2014. As an intern, I assisted in all aspects of the company, from working with the Interior Designer in current projects, and helping management of trades on site. I was solely responsible for putting together the Operation & Maintenance Manual for each project reaching completion. In addition, I was working with clients to understand their design expectations and assisting in sourcing products and materials for them.
