About me
Currently, I am a Senior Content and Comms Executive at a PR agency. After graduating with a 2:1 in Journalism and Creative Writing from Kingston University in 2012, I worked as a freelance fashion PR, social media manager, and creative content writer. In 2013 I helped to launch Clothesminded.co.uk. In my role as Product Manager and Stylist, I was responsible for selecting, pricing, and uploading all products to the website, organising, managing, and styling weekly photo shoots, and creating all online content including product descriptions, blogs, and social media. In this role, I developed invaluable skills which helped me progress within the fashion industry, and gave me a broad understanding of eCommerce management and marketing. I went on to work as Stylist and eCommerce Assistant at Concept Fashion Agency, where I worked across three womenswear brands. I was responsible for bi-weekly photo shoots, online visual merchandising, liaising with customers including ASOS and House of Fraser, and creating SEO product descriptions for over 100 products per month. I also assisted with brand marketing, including print and television advertising Since 2015 I have worked in varied PR, content, and marketing roles. On a daily basis I write content ranging from press releases to social media posts to client blogs, I liaise with press, track and analyse press coverage, and create website analytics reports for a number of clients. I write branded newsletters and eshots, assist in website development including SEO content creation, and help organise and promote client events, amongst a range of other ad hoc marketing tasks. My roles within fashion and communications have all required a keen eye for detail, and a hands-on approach to wide-ranging tasks, so I am always happy to take on jobs outside of my role to support the wider team. My years working as a freelancer have made me an adaptable and independent worker that works efficiently to tight headlines, but I am sociable and love working as part of a team.
