An Australian new to London looking new and challenging job opportunities. With an extensive background in hospitality, visual merchandising, events and customer service I'm looking to branch out and hone my existing skills. I am an incredibly hard working, a fast learner and truly give everything I do 100%. I'm looking for further my knowledge in event management, and even though on paper my experience in this area appears very limited. I believe my extensive experience in other areas such as hospitality, retail management and visual merchandising have all endowed me with skills that enable me to excel in this.
I worked for Hospitality One booking events for one of their CBD venues, Henry and the Fox. I handled incoming event enquiries via different mediums including face to face interactions, email enquiries and third party referrals. I was in charge of putting together event proposals, event orders, event budgets, liaising with the head chef and negotiation food budgets. I also handled the day to day reservations for their 200 capacity restaurant. I also worked, as needed, as a floating event manager on some of the larger events organised by the company.
