Designing and making costumes for Artemis’ stage production of Beauty and the Beast. During this project I was able to flex my skills in making for the stage. I enjoyed taking my understanding and knowledge from fashion and applying it to costume design. Taking into consideration the quick changes, movability and scale of the garments when designing these costumes was a fun challenge.

During my course I learnt integral skills that allowed me to set up myself as a professional post graduating. Studying on this course I was able to build knowledge on a wide variety of industrial machinery and hot works machinery such as ultra sonic welders and laser cutting.
Whilst completing my final collection, I had two other younger students assign to me, I enjoyed teaching them processes and skills I had learnt and passing on my abilities.
