About me

I have recently finished my Film, Radio & Television studies degree at Canterbury Christchurch University specialising in Radio securing a 1st (Hons). Since leaving University I have worked as a Delegation Manager for a travel company allowing me to travel the world and meet hundreds of people from different countries and cultures. During this time I have also carved out time to run Harlow Rugby Clubs Website as well creating various advertisements and branding packages for a variety of small companies. I spend my free time running a Plus Size Fashion Instagram @bladeandsilk_, painting and taking photographs.

Over the past two years I have worked for a company names ECE which specialises in travel arrangements and leadership for American and German teenage students as they travel around the United Kingdom. My role was to ensure the students were punctual, organised and excited about the activities and subjects they would learn about. During my time as a Delegation Managers I have experienced a variety of situations both logistically and educationally wise that have tested me, however I have always managed to complete and fix issues that arises with a sense of calm and authority. As part of this role I have worked with students between 13 and 18 and also their teaching staff that accompany them. By working both with the students and their leaders I have learnt and observed the best ways to work as part of a group as well as a leader of a large group. This skill can clearly easily be transferred to working as part of a team in an educational environment.
