About me
I am a hardworking, enthusiastic and passionate marketing student in my final year of university after completing a 1 year placement as a marketing assistant. The course I am studying is Advertising Management and Digital Communications at Bucks New University, based in High Wycombe and I am currently on target to obtain a first-class degree. The 1 year placement I took was with IQ Glass involved wide-ranging duties. These are explained in my CV. As part of my skills and knowledge development, I chose to extend my course with a placement year to gain vital experience in the commercial industry. After my course finishes in May, I am looking to develop my knowledge and experience with an advertising agency. I believe I have the necessary skills, qualities and behaviours that ad agencies would strive to find in their employees. I am extremely motivated, creative and organised, I excel in IT, and I’m a quick learner and driven by new challenges. I am a good communicator within team environments and have a ‘can do’ solution focussed attitude. I am reliable and responsible for every task I undertake and ensure all work is done ahead of schedule. My written and presentational skills have been polished to a high standard through my university work assignments and during my work placement with the content creation of nine websites at Texo Group.

    One Year Internship On a day to day basis i carried out a wide range of marketing activities, mostly web based, with the goal to increase each websites visibility online, improve brand awareness and ultimately increase company sales. - Content creation for all eight of our design led websites this will include blog articles, product pages and other articles on specific subjects aimed at a range of audiences. - Social media management for eight company profiles across various platforms including Twitter, Pinterest, Houzz and other design led websites. - Creation of regular Press Releases and Newsletters for email distribution - Liaising with journalists and editors and providing relevant content for publication upon request. These publications regularly include Grand Designs, Living Etc, Real Homes and similar residential design magazines. - Assist with the marketing and organisation of various events held at the Sky House Design Centre - Communicating with various teams within Texo Group to create new ideas for website content and other marketing material. - Working with the Marketing team to explore new marketing avenues and to increase our brand awareness - Liaising with the contracts team and our photographer to arrange photography of completed architectural projects. - Design Brochures and marketing materials
