I'm a UX Designer, previously from the world of office management, which has given me great experience understanding and empathising with user problems. I’m highly detail oriented and strive to make intuitive, impactful designs which people enjoy using. I thrive working in innovative, fast-paced, multi-disciplinary teams with people from diverse backgrounds. My previous work experience also includes setting up my own clothing alterations and repairs business, which requires excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation.

- Redesigning a small business website to generate more clientsI worked with Wave Business TV to redesign their website for desktop and mobile. The company’s 12 month goal was to triple their turnover, and the website will help to drive this by providing a simple navigation system where new and existing clients can find information with ease.

• Carrying out regular usability testing, then assessing this data with the team to create affinity diagrams which help inform product decisions. Based on feedback from a previous round of testing, I implemented a cost comparison tool which has been positively received by users in our latest tests.
• Participating in workshops with a cross-functional product team, including Product Managers and Engineers, to solve user problems.
• Creating appropriate artefacts and documentation such as Miro boards, Notion documents and Basecamp updates to keep the team and clients involved.
• Working in Figma with design systems to make prototypes ready for development. I received feedback from a developer on a recent project that my designs were “extremely impressive, and a lot of fun to build”.
