Temp work in Sales Department. I assisted the Sales and Special Sales Teams in general admin and office support, and was tasked with retail customer and new business research, formulating presentations for key accounts, gathering sales data and helping to deal with online copyright infringements. I also spent some time with Editorial, International Rights and Production teams which allowed me to gain a better understanding of how publishing works as a whole.
Three summer contracts for a large financial advisory company specialising in personal financial management, mortgage, insurance and debt advice. My role involved negotiating with creditors to reduce clients’ debt. Initially I worked in administration support but was then given greater responsibility working with both staff and clients, devising monthly payment plans to help clients’ debt management.
After a work experience placement at school, I was asked to apply for a part-time role which I did for two years. My duties involved general work on the store floor, on the tills, stock-checking and answering customer queries, using computer system and providing general admin support.
