Projects
- THE ISLAND OF MISFIT TOYSTowards the end of my degree I independently sought out the opportunity to create an art exhibition at Download Festival (downloadfestival.co.uk/whats-on/metal-den-2). I created an immersive and interactive environment based on the theme ‘The Island of Misfit Toys’, whilst managing a budget and delivering to a tight deadline. This being my first experience in designing, building and installing an art installation, I was still expected to be self sufficient, and whilst finishing my degree at the same time I was able to produce an area of art that connected to the demographic. I received a lot of love for the area, plus positive feedback from production and the festival director.
