I am a celebrity and entertainment writer for OK! Magazine, OK! Online, New! Magazine, Notebook, S Magazine and more. I am a BJTC accredited journalist. I am full of ideas, enthusiastic, and have an array of digital skills, especially with feature and digital story writing, SEO, social media marketing and video and audio editing.
I was previously a showbiz reporter for the Daily Express where I produced breaking news and digital stories for search and social within a tight timeframe, while adhering to brand values and traffic targets.
Before this, I was the editorial assistant for Mother&Baby magazine. My time with M&B included writing features for search and social, interviewing celebrities, liaising with PRs and managing the Twitter account. I also assisted with the Mother&Baby Awards, which involved liaising with clients, organising deadlines and compiling over 250 reviews for the online site.

I am currently a celebrity and entertainment writer for Reach PLC’s Magazine Hub, where I work across nine titles, including OK!, new!, S Magazine and Notebook, as well as OK.co.uk. For the last two years, I have been a key player on the entertainment desk, pitching and producing magazine features as well as conducting heartfelt, exclusive interviews on photoshoots. On a day-to-day basis, I conduct exclusive interviews with high-profile couples, giving them the outlet to share the news of the next chapters of their lives - whether it be an engagement, their wedding or a new baby. Writing across nine print titles as well as online has meant I can confidently adapt my writing style to appeal to a variety of audiences, whether it be writing a colourful, 2500 word feature for the audience of a 60 year old or a 700 word digital article for the attention span of a 20 year old student.
I also produce entertainment and lifestyle news features for search and social - optimised for SEO - and with this practice, I can also turn around breaking news stories in under five minutes. A vital part of my role on the entertainment desk has also involved attending red carpet events and high-profile parties to source and produce exclusive celebrity stories on the spot.
During my two years at OK!, I have been given the responsibility to produce three weekly celebrity columns with the likes of TV royalty Kerry Katona, Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson and former WAG Danielle Lloyd. Over time, I have become proficient in liaising with our columnists, sources, experts, agents and PRs. This has given me the opportunity to maintain important relationships with my contacts. Whether it has been with the celebrity or the agent, it has gone on to help build a trust - and secure further interview opportunities. As a team player, I have also been vital in welcoming and helping to train new members of the team when required, including editing their work and mentoring new starters.
