Highly creative, organised, self- starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
I am also an artist and illustrator, having graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2016 with an upper second-class degree in Illustration and Animation. I spent my final year creating a project around the regeneration, community and history in Forest Hill. My final project was an exploration of the built environment and how buildings speak to our sense of place over time. I focused particularly on the building at Louise House in SE23 which is now the home of the V22 arts centre, but whose history was as a home for destitute girls. If you would be interested to see the work, you can do so via my website link.
Since graduating, I have remained in Manchester, working in a start-up restaurant, where I was promoted to supervisor. I have had an active role in promotional work here, and helped generate ideas for developing the business. I think it indicates something good about my work ethic and people skills, and I have certainly learnt how to look after customers. . I have also done a short internship back in London at Alhambra, a small local business selling beautiful encaustic Spanish tiles. While I was with them I was involved in how they could grow the business via digital marketing, including researching how they could crowd source funding to redesign their website, I also helped to devise a social media strategy to strengthen their online presence and following.
I am now seeking to gain more experience in creative fields!

In this role I have been integral in carrying out operational tasks in order to manage the smooth running of the centre including setting up for classes and events. I produce and design posters for both internal and external classes and workshops as well as programmes for their regular concerts. My role also involves being very active within the centre but also being visible in the office doing administrative tasks using Microsoft Office programmes and CRM systems and keeping record of new members and updating online files to create a clear organised system that all members of staff can access. I am also responsible for writing content for the monthly newsletter, which often features my own photographs of events.
