  • • Managing all aspects of garment production; from sample development, order placement to delivery with suppliers in the EU and Far East. This includes negotiating costings, lead times, product development and prototyping. • Supporting suppliers in outsourcing materials. • Working closely with an external shipping team to help priorities allocation and coordinate deliveries. • Sourcing interns; recruiting, interviewing, scheduling and supervising • Design edits; Re-colouring artwork, changing layouts and putting designs into repeat. • Regular comp shop visits to support research and production ideas. • Assisting the director in seasonal pattern buying meetings. • Liaising with the clients to discuss the briefs • Discussing the brief and design concepts with the design team, choosing print selections, samples and presenting these to the client. • Assume responsibility for all development in compliance with brand quality and guidelines. • Experience working with jersey, woven, silk and burnout garments

  • • Responsible for the management of meterage – a short run silk printing service – producing printed lengths for press samples, fashion shoots and presentations. • My role required me to oversee this process, from editing the prints on Photoshop; including colour matching, design adaptation and putting designs into repeat, to invoicing clients. • Editing the studio website, blog and social media. • Designing all show related material, including invitations and posters. Primary shows include: Premiere Vision, Indigo and The London Textile Fair. • Emailing invitations to clients • Act as the main point of contact for freelancers, suppliers and customers on a day-to-day basis. • Liaise across a variety of departments from; design, sales, accounts to management. • Monitor and maintain accuracy of data within the company system. • Supporting the design department by gathering and presenting relevant trend information for resource material. I regularly used the websites WGSN, Stylesight and Style.com.

  • • Freelance digital print designer. • My main role was to design contemporary, fashionable and versatile sample prints for the company to sell to buyers. • My prints were sold globally to various high street retailers in London, New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Australia, Japan and Korea. • I composed embroidery layouts that were sent to India for construction. • Whilst working as studio assistant, I led sales meetings with buyers to promote upcoming collections.
