Through my work I want to push the boundaries of fashion illustration as a communication tool to provoke a conversation. My visual identity is inspired by multiple genres and diverse styles that have been archived in my memory, from grungy British fashion editorials, dreamy nostalgic films to protest statements and obscure sculptures. I have a toxic relationship with fashion that plays conflict between my adoration for fashion but consciousness for waste, the consequence of a childhood addiction to Barbie. This relationship has embedded a contextual use of naïve depictions of fashion, colouring outside the lines.
