I started my PR career as a PR Assistant at Champions, quickly moving to manage the consumer arm of the department as PR Manager. Whilst in this role I acted as an Account Manager for a variety of consumer clients within the busy PR department. Here I undertook a number of tasks including devising creative concepts, ideas as well as press angles, acting as press officer and communications agent for my clients, selling angles and products into the press, gaining coverage, liaising with the marketing department and creating content. The clients I performed these duties for vary from the consumer sector, fashion, luxury/premium division, travel and property sector as well as the celebrity and entertainment industries. I also developed concise and creative web copy for a variety of clients based upon requirements. I regularly updated web news for my company and designed copy for web-based marketing as well as printed marketing literature for a variety of clients. Not only this but I aided in new business development for the department and helped to aid other departments in cross-selling other areas of the business. I also wrote research-led feature articles for Aspirational Magazine as well as proofed, edited and researched articles for the title.
Graduated with a joint honours degree in English & Drama Studies. Completed creative writing courses as part of my degree, including Writing for the Screen and Writing for the Stage.
