With scissors in one hand and his dad's paper clips close by, Emil's interest for pictures sparked after trimming historical images from his middle school textbooks and through an impressionable fondness for his monthly-grown collection of Urban Outfitters catalogs belonging to the mid-2000s. As a product of the MySpace generation in the flatland suburbs of the San Joaquin Valley, Emil adopted photography as a release of self-expression. Emil is now a freelance photographer in the city of Los Angeles.
