Recently graduated with a high 2:1 in Art History from the University of Nottingham. Soon to be moving to Scotland to study at the University of Glasgow for my MLitt in Art History: Dress & Textile Histories.
During my undergraduate degree I was made director of the university's leading student-run curatorial collective, 'Crop Up Gallery', where I devised exhibitions & organized fundraisers and events. I've also worked as a paid blogger on a student site, Liberty Living, as well as writing freelance on my own blog - 'millyemilia' on WordPress. I have also previously worked for arts festivals, arts school programmes and given talks about studying Art History as an undergraduate.

- Crop Up Gallery: Exhibition Branding (2018)Collaborating with Nottingham Lakeside Arts, posters and social assets were created to promote the gallery's upcoming Sanctuary exhibition. Using Nottingham Lakeside Art's photograph of their choosing and meeting their branding requirements, minimalist OOH promotion and organic social activity on Facebook and Instagram were produced. Nottingham Lakeside Arts sought to have the photography take centre-stage in their promotion, which is why I chose to keep the typography, logo usage, colour scheme

At university I was part of the student-led curatorial collective, Crop Up Gallery, at Nottingham. I was in the curation team in my first year then I was made vice-director and head of curation in my second, with my final role as director in my final year. We hosted events and workshops, created zines and held fundraisers all to help our main aim of creating inclusive, collaborative and accessible exhibitions across the East Midlands.
