BA (Hons) Press and Editorial Photography graduate with demonstrated experience in picture editing, design and photography. Currently working as a picture researcher at The Times.
I am certified in Adobe design, video and animation programmes and have a high understanding of metadata standards and journalism practices.
My industry experience includes an internship on the picture desk at Shutterstock Now (formerly REX) for two months, where I undertook picture editing roles and photo call assignments, and have since continued to syndicate press photography as a freelancer through the agency. I also completed a design placement at Square Up Media in 2017, where alongside design roles I completed picture research and retouching tasks.
My main passions span journalism and visual art, and I have volunteered for organisations such as The Idler, SITE Gallery and the Red Eye Photography Network. In 2018, I completed an Erasmus exchange at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and attended the Journalism Summer School at the London College of Communication.
During my studies at Falmouth University, I have worked as a freelance commercial photographer and videographer through various commissions I have completed for businesses around Cornwall. Over my three years of study I have also worked as an events photographer and student ambassador for the university.
