About me
Emily Bryson is a producer, administrator and project manager working across a range of subjects including art, sculpture, film, publishing, design, and fashion. Emily's strength is communication and management, working directly with artists in the form of exhibitions, events, residencies, or interviews/writing. Currently working with Ryan Gander OBE, Emily manages and develops international exhibitions, public art commissions, industry collaborations, publications and digital communications. Previously, Emily has organised a non-profit exhibition space called Fieldworks Gallery in London focusing on emerging artists; produced the film 'Acreage' (2017) with Isreali artist Gili Lavy, and project managed and coordinated Maryam Eisler's Voices: East London, featuring eighty iconic personalities in the area including Maureen Paley, Charles Saumarez Smith and Iwona Blazwick alongside Thames & Hudson and TransGlobe.

Managing 30 creative studios, I ensured the smooth running of the studios, including general admin, managing the physical upkeep of the site, liaising with current and prospective tenants and sorting through budgeting and contractual agreements. I implemented a full marketing and branding strategy, creating a website and subsequent newsletters for the community and interested parties which resulted in funding for more studios being built and offered. In March 2017, I founded a year-long programme in one of the site’s railway arches which focused on a series of solo exhibitions by emerging artists. The space concentrated on site-specific installations including video work, performance and sculpture. Curating monthly exhibitions and events, I produced film screenings, press previews, and artist talks. Alongside admin and financial duties, I attended studio visits, manage artist and press inquiries and organised the installation of exhibitions and events. Many of the artists have now moved onto larger gallery representation and institutional shows such as Zabludowicz Gallery (London), Bold Tendencies (London), Lychee One (London) and Tanya Leighton (Berlin).
