About me

I am a creative student, studying at Birmingham City University, doing a BA(Hons) degree in Textiles Design. I enjoy exploring new and different textile and drawing techniques, always enthusiastic to develop my skills and experience with creative designing and open to learning about different areas of the textile design industry. Being a specialized print and embroidery student, it has made me be more creative and bring new ideas to the table. Being able to learn and progress with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), such as Photoshop, made me have an interest in having a career in print designing for homeware and also graphic design. An Internship in this industry would give me a chance to put forward my abilities, not only that I get to experience and learn new things at the workplace.

• Light MovementThis project explores the fast light movements that we see in great cities. Targetted fabrics to be used for lampshades, to light up a modern home.
• KaleidoscopeThis project key inspiration is kaleidoscopes. Using bold colours, mirrored patterns and funky shapes.
• First Years Collaborating with EpsonFor one of the modules in my first year of university, we collaborated with Epson to create different designs for their stand at a showroom, to show what their printing machines can do. Alongside with their chosen colour palette
