- Sa PippiaSa Pippia (translated roughly as ‘Little Girl’) is a photographic exploration of Em Dessi-Makin’s Sardinian heritage. Over the course of the winter months that turned 2019 into 2020 Em travelled clockwise from Burcei, through Cagliari, San Sperate and Cabras, taking photos of people and objects that she felt represented ‘home’. During my time in this role I have been in charge of finding and booking studios, crew, hotels, and flights. I have also been in charge of petty cash, and ensuring all receipts are kept and stored in a system that helps with the accounting, and I have been the first point of contact from planning shoots, to passing invoices on at the end of a shoot.
