Work history
Junior Photo EditorSecret Escapes
London, United KingdomFull Time
Ensuring that all sales across all territories have the correct, inspiring and unique imagery by sourcing new and updated imagery from suppliers. Checking that we have the correct licence to use any stock images on all deals I work on as well as sourcing other relevant stock by researching the location of the hotel. Enhancing images to making sure they fit the house style (which I was recently involved in updating) by retouching in Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
Managing internal relationships with colleges across the company on a global scale to ensure deadlines are met or exceeded as the role is very fast paced. I also ensure my external communication to suppliers builds relationships by being as professional, clear and efficient as possible.
I work closely along side two other photo editors which allows us to to share new ideas about the tasks for the day or week and raise concerns about any aspect of the working day quickly with effect. I also assume all responsibility of the photo desk in their absence.
I have been involved in extra projects, the biggest being the monitoring of engagement of sales and figuring out a way to track those performing lower than expected as well as increase the amount of clicks on a sale through changing the imagery. I am also responsible for making sure any deals in our email and that feature in any campaigns have the strongest lead image daily.
Another team I am involved with is the Social Team whose focus is organising events which bring the London office colleagues together (for example themed drinks at our office bar but also educational seminars). I have also joined the LGBTQI+ and BAME support group as an ally to offer support to others in the workplace.

Photographer and ResearcherNottingham Trent University
Nottingham, United KingdomInternship
During my 6 week internship my brief was to research the large amounts of Nottingham’s culture and photograph any cultural events happening within the university and outside of it for a guide that will be made for new and existing students for them to see what else they can get involved in that is not already heavily promoted.
I reached out to students involved in societies and people from organisations and companies in Nottingham both big and small to ask them to meet for mini-interviews and to ask if I could come along to work spaces', venues and events to photograph. My role as a photographer also meant that I was also working a lot with NTU Music. I began building up their archive of images of all the music programme sessions that students, staff and alumni can get involved in as well as updating head shots for their homepage.
I put my time keeping and organisation skills into practice to maximise my working day as well as keep up with editing.

BA (Hons) Photography - Upper Second Class (2:1)Nottingham Trent University
- Nottingham, United Kingdom
I studied visual, critical and professional modules. In my final year I was short-listed for the Genesis Images portfolio award. I was a part of three group exhibitions, a show case of my second year work, part of an exhibition that explored peoples impressions of a trip to New York and my degree show exhibition. I wrote my dissertation on the selfie and questioned if way that we portray ourselves online is true.
