Emily is a photographer from Northern Virginia and a recent graduate of the University of Virginia (UVA). This past spring she completed dual degrees in biology and psychology and interned for UVA Music’s Promotions Department. As Photography Intern she photographed concerts and managed Volunteer Photographers. Emily found her love of photography and graphic design when she joined the middle school yearbook staff in 8th grade. Ever since then, the storytelling and moment-capturing power of event photography has motivated her to pick up her camera again and again. Emily loves to travel (she has been lucky to spend her summers between UVA semesters living in Valencia, Spain and New York City) and is currently looking for her next adventure. She aims to develop her technical photography skills and deepen her understanding of digital content production, styling, research, analysis, and management.
