About me
I am a recent graduate looking to meet emerging creatives in a variety of different fields. I have experience in writing/producing music for dancers, choreographers, play-writes, and other musicians, and for my own performance work. I am a lyricist and singer and I have created audiovisual works in the past (both the film and the music) and this is something that I want to expand on. My personal project bodyofwater is going to be launched soon with my debut single Luna, I want to use this project as a means to step outside of my experiences and create a brand inspired by people, literature, and imagery. I want to network with and work with as many different creatives as possible!

For this piece I collaborated with the Kennedy Muntanga Dance Theatre and play-write Ndumiso Peter Ndlovu to compose 'King Nebuchadnezzar', a performance art work that was premiered at The Place as a part of Resolutions 2020. After three months of work the twenty five minute piece manifested as an exhilarating, moving realisation of what young creatives can achieve when we elevate one another. After receiving praise from the audience and critics such as The Guardian the headline show was deemed a huge success.

For this job I worked with two out of the four 2019 Sadler's Wells Young Associates. I composed two five minute pieces for Ruby Portus and Anthony Matsena to accompany their choreography for 'Together, Not The Same', a piece that premiered on the Sadler's Wells MainStage. The two performances studied very real topics ranging from climate change to gang violence, so naturally the music had to support these themes and target the audiences emotions. I am grateful to be a part of such an eclectic project involving creatives from many different mediums.

I am extremely grateful to have studied at such a prestigious University that puts so much focus on the arts. After three years at Goldsmiths, I have learnt about music production, performance, music in film, audiovisual work, critically analysing music, and aesthetics, to name a few. Not only this, but my time at university has taught me discipline and focus. After leaving Goldsmiths with a second class honours I am now looking to expand my skill set and network with more creatives.
