I am a creative stylist with nearly 3 years in the industry, working on client facing projects and specialising on a wide range of subjects; from interiors to children’s shoots. This is on top of my previous experience as a production assistant and a degree in photography. I am proactive, organised, and work best under pressure to surpass my client’s expectations. I am able to work as part of a team or succeed on my own, with creative flair and ability to multitask on the spot. I am looking to secure a challenging role and increase my knowledge and skill set on the job, therefore becoming a key member of a team in which I can build a great career with.Locked Pro Plan feature
As one of the main creative stylists, I play a key role in gaining new clients on test shoots and working with all existing clients, on everything from castings right up to campaigns and location work. I especially enjoy building relationships with clients where I am confident with advising and discussing ideas, often taking on a more demanding role focusing on creative direction. Also creating mood boards for larger campaign shoots, taking into consideration the brand and shoot concept. Regularly liaising with production and working with them to overcome issues, ensuring a smooth shoot and improving future shoots and briefs.
Assisting on creative client shoots being the key organiser on and off set. Being the go to during a shoot from arranging the lunch to prepping the product and props. Coordinating before and after a shoot, planning the diary, answering client calls, arranging couriers and making briefs. Keeping all social media up to date and assisting the photographer as their digi tech, handling all CaptureOne coding and output.
Supporting new teams with their training and development, implementing updated training where necessary. Holding weekly team meetings and one to one feedback sessions. Also keeping track of the daily spread sheet and other admin.
Assisting production before the shoot day purchasing and sourcing props including food for the lifestyle sets and ensuring this is kept within a strict budget. Accessing the warehouse to choose larger furniture items and ensuring that they are delivered to set in time for the shoot. At the start of the day, helping the photographer with the set up of lighting and ensuring all kit is working. On set with the senior stylist, I was very involved in the preparation of products and the overall composition of the shot. Taking initiative when something isn’t working, thinking creatively on the spot to ensure we best sell the product. Also worked closely with the art director in the creation of mood boards and ideas for future still life and interior shoots.
Working closely with three franchises in producing the photography and content for their window displays, magazines, online and other advertisements. Managing my own diary booking shoots and creating floor plans, all within timeframes. Responsible for my own post-production, editing images, writing content and putting into the appropriate format, then arranging printing of window displays and leaflets etc.
