I curate, caption, schedule, research relevant hashtags and engage weekly for the Sian Zeng Instagram feed, helping this wallpaper brand craft a notable and growing presence online.
- Eat, Drink, 24/7 - Bristol Food & Drink Guide 2019Bristol's first independent food & drink guide, celebrating the best this city has to offer. I worked on the research, fact-checking, copy and editing of this guidebook to deadline, before seeing the project go to print and circulated around the city.
- Health & Wellbeing Feature - Examining EmotionLocal news article for the Health & Wellbeing section Bristol 24/7's printed publication - Issue 57, June 2019. As studio manager at Trika Yoga, I oversee the day-to-day running of a busy independent yoga studio in Bristol, with two yoga spaces, 7 day schedule in studio and online, therapy rooms and annual UK and Europe-based retreat programme. This varied role has provided me 2+ experience in administrative tasks, 30+ team management, marketing and content creation and customer-facing communications.
My duties include:
- Co-manage a team of 5 desk staff and 30+ yoga teachers and massage therapists, from day-to-day administrative tasks to wider business maintenance, direction and development
- Primary copywriter for all Trika marketing material, including print flyers, digital newsletter, website copy and social media posts across Instagram, Facebook and Google My Business.
- Led the launch of the ‘Trika at Home’ online streaming platform, which has grown to a weekly schedule of 40+ lives-streamed classes and workshops, maintaining and diversifying the studio community and clientele so we can continue to operate throughout the pandemic
- Research, organise and deal with bookings for our annual retreat programme ‘Trika Retreats’, ranging from weekend to week-long yoga retreats across the UK and Europe
- Cleaning and curation of the physical studio space, welcoming students and answering enquiries

My varied role includes management of Sian Zeng's social media channels, outreach to trade partners, brands and influencers, website copy and copy for new collection launches, including press releases and newsletters. I also sub copy for press requests and award applications, including Sian's Grand Prize Win at the Etsy 2019 Design Awards.
My duties include:
- Lead content creator across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. I transform customer/collaborator images, stock photography and descriptions into compelling social content with a high engagement. Content includes feed posts, stories, reels, graphics and hashtags
- Writer of the winning award application at the Etsy Design Awards 2019, crowning Sian Zeng Global Grand Prize Winner
- Global lead generator for influencer, press and trade outreach, researching and initiating primary contact with potential collaborators to increase reach of the Sian Zeng brand
- Monthly newsletter creation to over 5000 subscribers
- Monthly marketing reviews with CEO, discussing future strategies and directions
- Spent three years developing and maintaining the Sian Zeng tone of voice as the company transitioned from personal brand to global business, breaking the Russian and Singapore markets. Whilst I worked here, all copy issued by the brand was either written or edited by myself, from social media posts, press releases and product guides to website copy, award applications and press interviews

Graduated with a 2:1 Degree and Deans Commendation from the faculty for my academic achievement.
An essay of mine was recognised by the department and subsequently published in the Q Journal.
