About me
I am a recent graduate of BA (Hons) Illustration at the University of Brighton. Being a highly motivated and organised individual, combined with being detail orientated, allows me to strategically tackle any brief given to me whilst maintaining a positive and focussed attitude. My versatile skill set, woeking across 2D and 3D, enables me to adapt myself to any challenge, making me enthusiastic for the opportunity to learn new skills and build upon my experience. Whatever challenge is given to me I am committed in working towards, and delivering, an effective solution.
Projects
  • WALKING CONTRADICTION
WALKING CONTRADICTIONWalking Contradiction challenges the traditional associations behind 'femininity' through styling and surroundings. I up-cycled old pieces of clothing, mostly associated with masculinity, using it as a blank canvas to add stereotypical feminine features. Whether that be through the choice of material, silhouette, or colour, my aim is to blur the lines between masculinity and femininity.
  • JUS CHILLIN AT MINE, WBU
JUS CHILLIN AT MINE, WBULooking at how the youth today navigate their lives in a digital age. Contrasting against this contemporary subject matter, I use the traditional medium of clay to imitate young people today and how they interact with technology and their personal spaces.
  • THERE'S NOTHING QUITE LIKE IT
THERE'S NOTHING QUITE LIKE ITThere's Nothing Quite Like It explores Britishness and the idea of independence, with some unable to see the benefits other countries provide. The characters created are inspired by Martin Parr's Think of England documentary, with many viewing Britain as a utopian paradise, believing there's no reason to experience the benefits of further afield.
