About me
I’m a London-based graphic designer with a background in marketing and brand communications. My industry experience spans publishing, fashion, retail design, travel and youth development. I work with both print and digital media, from visualisation through to execution. I like solving creative problems and working collaboratively to create brand experiences that centre on connection, expression and play. I recently rebranded the expedition company World Challenge, which unified the global business and armed Sales Teams with contemporary materials that instilled confidence and focus. I’m keen to progress my predominantly self-taught design career, to broaden my commercial experience, stretch my capabilities and tackle challenging design briefs while learning from others along the way.

I was brought on board to redefine the World Challenge brand with a fresh visual identity, personality and voice that emulates it’s values. I rolled out new branding across all touchpoints throughout the group (Australia, Middle East, South Africa, US and Canada and UK), uniting markets with global materials for the first time since business expansion 17 years ago. I continue to shape the growth of the brand, keeping it current through powerful and practical design
I lead a small design team, successfully servicing all global markets’ offline and digital needs, from conceptualisation through to delivery. We create brochures, booklets, flyers, posters, itineraries, email campaigns, websites, presentations, forms and stationery. As a team, we’re always looking to improve and evolve our design collateral to better the user experience. We punch well above our weight. Therefore, leading regular, open flows of communication from UK HQ is essential to the success and impact of our design work. I’m resilient under pressure, demonstrated by my conscientious, hands-on nature, working to tight deadlines while considering market differences, business challenges and strategies. Since rebranding, the business has experienced growth for the first time in several years with school repeat rates up by 5% and new school launches up by 29% in the UK alone
In partnership with web dev agency Atomic Media, I led the design and launch of four new branded websites – one dedicated site per market. I continue to oversee their upkeep and evolution weareworldchallenge.com

Worked closely with the house designer and Design Directors (Graphics) on print, digital and spatial design including the agency website, studio space and annual brochure. I co-created special thought pieces, visual trend reports and project case studies with the Strategy and Design teams for online. I also supported the launch of D&P’s rebrand across all platforms and brand collateral. A collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to projects gave invaluable insight into the design process and it’s importance as a foundation to ensure great outcomes
Collaborated with in-house digital designers, copywriters and external developers to refine the new D&P website during the build and testing stages. I liaised regularly with the dev team post- launch to report bugs, design faults and to brief in design updates. I was also responsible for creating and managing online content, monitoring engagement and making recommendations. It was incredibly exciting to be a part of this project throughout its life cycle. The result was a fun, slick and user-friendly online experience. The site’s refreshed content and new look enticed larger volumes of traffic, increased average session times and lowered bounce rates
Managed D&P’s social media channels (Twitter, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Instagram & Pinterest) creating monthly content programmes, developing new initiatives and campaigns and designing content to enhance profiles. Over the course of a few months, engagements and followers across Twitter and Instagram more than doubled, which in turn, doubled referral traffic to the new D&P website
