About me

A Brighton-based graduate in graphic design, I offer 15+ years’ experience in creative idea generation and art direction, with rigorous concept development and artworking in both print and digital formats. I am adaptable, having successfully worked in house and freelance across a range of industries including spa, travel, government, charities and the arts. Known for my curiosity and laserbeam attention to detail, I take pride in doing the best job I can do. I am efficient and organised, with a perfectionist streak and a terrific sense of humour.

Projects

• Nicholas Hare ArchitectsGraphic design for architectural practice including brochures, leaflets, reports, postcards and magazines, bespoke bid work, large format panels and signage. Development of new intranet, picture research, concept generation, brand guardianship, and colour advice on architectural projects.
• SwitchboardComplete rebrand of charity identity, implemented onto postcards, posters, stationery, pop up banners and teeshirts. I aimed for a highly accessible and legible typeface, and accented with different coloured circles, connected by a line. The different colours come from primary LGBT flags and the logo represents how Switchboard connects people in these groups to support services, and to each other.

• Spabreaks.comDesign of branded digital and print campaign and marketing materials, photography curation, logistics and art direction for photo and video shoots, video editing, copy editing and proofreading.
• Creative SkillsetWinner of a Hiive competition to design a set of icons for Creative Skillset, the UK skills body for the creative industries. The icons are used to promote different categories of creative jobs to young people looking for career inspiration.
• RobotsA really fun identity design project for small tech company Robot Loves You, which led to me using the rejected robot illustrations on other materials.
