Projects
- My first jewellery collection!Currently selling some jewellery at the studio KT1 5 year anniversary exhibition. These beautiful photos were taken by @daiswsh of @ellarhiannax on instagram. If you're around Kingston dont forget to take a look at all the insane art on 19 Thames Street and visit the merch stand to see (or maybe even buy?!) one of my pieces!
- UK Fungus day workshop!Completely forgot to post this when it happened but happy (very late) fungus day! In this drop-in workshop participants could identify species of fungi from our range of mushroom samples, examine their spores under a microscope projected on the wall, as well as create some neon fungi art! Either on a tablet or on paper, they could draw their own wild mushrooms that were then cut out on neon vinyl stickers to be included in an exhibition at INTRA ARTS.
- Medway Pride 2024!It was such a busy week that I have maybe 5 photos max to choose from for this post! This year, I helped out in a drink & print event in which attendees screenprinted t shirts as they drank cocktails served from the pop up cocktail bar. I also assisted at Medway Pride in The Rochester Castle Gardens where anyone could come and screenprint their own tote bag! It was chaos but a lot of fun. I'm already looking forward to helping out again next year when I'm back in Medway for the summer!!

Similarly to my work at INTRA ARTS, I have helped to set up and deliver workshops at large events such as Rochester Christmas Market. I have also assisted in setting up exhibitions as well as creating social media content to advertise these. For example, I helped create content for INTRA ARTS and The Mess Room’s joint project ‘Medway Open Studios’ which highlights and uplifts local artists. Moreover, one exhibition I helped set up in Rochester Cathedral was created by a visually impaired group funded by the KAB and through my experience at this event I learnt how to make my social media content more accessible to all audiences.

My job role at this community art workspace involves setting up and delivering workshops at various locations in the local area. This includes popular events and festivals such as Medway Pride and Medway Light Nights. The workshops vary from mural work, to screen printing, to badge making to more simple arts and crafts projects. I was also lucky enough to join and lead The Wave Project, created for young adults stuggling with their mental health in which I’ve learnt many new printmaking and textiles techniques as well as connected with the members who attend.
