Toye Kenning Spencer

Mar 1995 - Nov 1998
  • I was employed as the head designer for the companies own label Toye London which featured men's and leisure wear. Whilst in this role I also designed graphics for print and embroidery to be used on corporate clothing for companies such as The National Trust, GNER, WWF, G.O.S.H and various London tourist shops. A highlight was designing graphics for Durex who commissioned the company to produce some promotional ties. Another huge highlight was being part of the design team for The Eurovision Song Contest, in which I designed t-shirts for marketing and promotion and were sold at the event. This exciting role at Toye Kenning & Spencers also involved arranging the exhibitions for large trade fairs in the UK, which included putting together the seasons collections and catalogues incorporating fashion photography. I booked professional models from London and helped in promoting and selling the in house brand.
