Responsible for building and designing commercial clothing & accessories collections with an extensive product range 250+. Lead and solus designer of new company concepts with responsibility to expand the product ranges by correlating with all departments. Built a collection for the targeted younger market which successfully contributed to a more profitable and diverse customer base. Delivered additional and repeat contract work for the largest retail customers. Delivered numerous sales opportunities for repeat orders which provided additional growth and profitability. Developed ideas from concept by researching new trends from around Europe, using the number 1 forecasting websites and attending trade shows to create a multi- product collection. Created initial specifications through to production of initial samples using CAD. Put together working sketches and artwork packs suitable for factory development using Adobe. Communicated with factories on a daily basis and followed sample developments keeping track of progress with weekly team reviews to ensure deadlines were met. Launched collection and ensured cost effective targets and strategy were met, successfully delivered all KPI’s within specified time frames in line with business requirements.
Social Media:
Improved brand awareness in social media and digital responsibilities. Showcased the voice on social media creating weekly posts, responding and escalating as necessary on Instagram and LinkedIn staying engaged within the conversation. Created new social media strategies and key programming throughout the year. Built relationships to generate what’s new and behind the scenes to widen out our audience base.
