About me
I have eight years' experience researching and writing about twentieth-century and contemporary British and American literature—in particular, my research focuses on travel writing, architecture, and cities. I also have extensive experience building and managing relationships with artists/writers and organisations from the creative industries, including Liverpool Biennial and the Tate. I am now seeking opportunities to develop my career in a new direction, especially in copywriting, journalism, and publishing.
Projects
- Summer SessionsIn 2016, I collaborated with Liverpool Biennial (one of the largest arts festivals in the UK) to design and deliver a programme of interrelated public events that addressed the relationship between the literary and visual arts. This involved: compèring events; liaisng with artists, poets, writers, critics, curators, and gallery direcrtors; writing engaging copy to promote events.
