Managed a tight and demanding schedule, whilst remaining flexible and creatively problem-solving. Which allowed me to prepare and remain productive, whilst being able to solve any issues quickly and appropriately.
Responsible for the safety, welfare, behaviour and entertainment of groups of 10 children, 24 hours a day. This allowed me to develop my leadership and responsibility skills, I quickly learnt how to remain engaged and calm for long periods of time as well as during moments of stress and high-emotions.
Partook, lead and assisted with numerous camp activities, including sports, performing arts and outdoor education.
Worked as a 1 on 1 with children with developmental disorders, such as autism, bipolar and anxiety. By working with a range of different behaviours I was able to learn and develop de-escalation techniques that are transferrable to the high-intensity nature of the entertainment industry.
