Hello! I’m Emma, I'm a recent illustration graduate and paper hoarder based in Sheffield, England. I’m an avid collector of found images, funky textures, colours and knick knacks. I am heavily inspired by nostalgia, music and architecture. I mainly work with collage, which for me is a way of piecing together all my interests and I love the analogue nature of the medium. I’m always keen to work on any collaborations, commissions and opportunities.

- Around the world in an isolated dazeA collaborative project run with fellow illustrator Jasmine Freemantle. Using our isolated time in the Covid-19 lockdown and focussing on community reportage, we were able to travel the world together. Tackling subject matter we don’t usually work with, we challenged ourselves to draw the same random locations to see the differences in the exact same places. Here I have shown my responses to the project.
- Fantastical creatures animal ABC bookThrough the juxtaposition of human and animal features, this ABC book for early learners looks at teaching children the alphabet with fantastical creatures in an unconventional way. The book features a simple colour palette and visuals suitable for my target audience. Here are some mockups of the book and some of my favourite pages.
- Editorial IllustrationsSpeculative editorial illustrations created during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The first illustration is for an article titled "Health officials make last-minute plea to stop lockdown easing in England." The second illustration is for an article titled "These £35 mystery clothing boxes are supporting factory workers in Bangladesh and preventing landfill."

- Modern Living ManifestoAn exhibition as part of Sheffield Modern Architecture Weekender, in collaboration with Our Favourite Places. Graphic Designers and Illustrators from Sheffield Institute of Arts worked together to explore the past, present and future of social housing. My piece aimed to display the good work that Sheffield is doing in regards to social housing, and to develop an understanding of the journey the City has been on through the decades. From the utopian visions of Park Hill in the 1960’s, to the
