My biggest passion lies with music and radio, of which I have had much experience at radio stations, a music distribution company and most recently in music tv. I am OBSESSED with playlist making and definitely spent all of lockdown doing just that. Me as a person? I am very sociable and pride myself on my ability to engage and build a rapport with people. I am also thoroughly organised and pay great attention to detail. Most of all, I am enthusiastic and hungry to learn and grow.

As a Presentation Scheduler I am responsible for creating and exporting the daily schedules for 3 of our 7 channels; The Box, Box Africa and Box Hits. In a standard week this will involve using RCS Selector to make clocks for every hour of the day and to then run these clocks for the week ahead. To give a very simple explanation of what I do, I build a schedule for each day made up of a multitude of different elements such as music videos, voice-over files, graphics, ad breaks, links and promos. I am responsible for making sure that the format of each schedule follows our set of rules and that each show is going to air as it was intended. Once they have been thoroughly checked over I send these schedules to our playout providers at Red Bee/Ericsson who send them to air.
I also used to work every week on our live programme 'Trending Live' as the Programme Administrator and as a stand in Sound Operator when required until the show finally wrapped in April 2019.

Working as part of the Broadcast and Production Services team I am responsible for many different aspects of the company's day to day operations.
My main responsibilities include:
Subtitling content for 4Music and looking after our access services reports for Ofcom.
Acting as Programme Administrator for our daily live show on 4Music.
Audio Mixing for both live and pre-recorded shows for a number of our channels.
Floor Managing live shows as well as our Fresh on Fridays shoots.
Occasional editing of entire shows for broadcast using Avid Media Composer.
Looking after the layoff and ingest processes for all of our media.
Cutting and editing audio for broadcast on our voice tracked shows.
Rigging our studios for broadcast and occasionally helping to operate cameras.
Voice and clip tracking shows for broadcast.
Being involved in brainstorm sessions for new shows.
My team is responsible for seeing that all media that is to reach transmission on our channels has been subtitled, passes all the necessary harding and gamma tests and is in the correct format and is fully ingested, ready for TX. We are also involved with the production of Trending Live and the editing of all video content that is to go out on the Box Plus Network.
