About me

First class graduate of Drama, Applied Theatre and Education at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Currently working as part of the sales team at a successful ad-tech start-up. I am a well balanced and thoughtful person who has repeatedly shown that I work successfully with other people and take pride in the work that I do. I am interested in learning from others, always expanding my knowledge and being challenged. I would love to use the skills I have gained during university and working-life to move on to the next new challenge. My experience in drama, teaching, writing and supervising a team show that I enjoy working with people and the year I spent solo-travelling after graduating displays my independent and pro-active nature.

Gained office skills while working as part of a team which planned and delivered Peugeot and Citroen's digital advertising strategy. I presented to clients and internally regularly, applying and further improving my presentation skills. I also took part in the graduate scheme, where i gained knowledge of a wide range of aspects of the advertising industry. The scheme ended with a competitive 'pitch week' where I worked within a small team to create a full media strategy for a new Channel 4 show and presented it back to the board of OMD and the client. My group won and was awarded by the CEO, Dan Clays. My day to day job included intermediate excel work, collaborating and strategising to create efficient plans and communicating often with media owners and partner companies.

I studied Drama, Applied Theatre and Education at RCSSD. This course gave me the chance to: - Perform in, direct and devise theatre, explore performance that takes place outside traditional theatre environments - Learn how theatre making can change lives and inspire new possibilities - Build industry contacts worldwide through placements and outreach projects - Develop skills in areas such as facilitating, devising, directing, performing, playwriting and filmmaking. I took part in various modules during my time here including, gender & sexuality, placements within schools, devising my own theatre piece, being part of a cast at the Minack theatre in Cornwall, writing a 10,000 word dissertation on the elitism of theatre and planning and facilitating in Mumbai in schools and youth groups around the city.
