About me
I’m Emma Philo and I am a Franco-British content writer/strategist and eCommerce consultant based in Paris, France. I have been freelancing for over 7 years in content, having written texts in English and French for companies such as the Calzedonia Group (Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Tezenis), and Vivienne Westwood. I love fashion and luxury, so most of my experience is in those industries. However, I have turned my hand to writing for tech companies, digital agencies and for online travel magazines. I have 5 years of experience in eCommerce, having worked for brands, managing their eCommerce strategy in both France and the UK. I have worked for Tu Clothing at Sainsbury’s in the UK, and Les Petites…, NOTSHY and Playtex. I left to go full-time freelance in February 2023, and I would be delighted to discuss your upcoming projects with you!

    Modes GitaneAs part of my freelance work, I worked closely with the Canadian brand Gitane, exclusively available to retailers, to produce content for their emails promoting the launch of their new platform as well as emails to contact potential retailers.

    NOTSHYAs well as being Eshop Manager, I participated in the site rebuild, doing competitor research, offering UX-friendly recommendations and working alongside a new development agency and brand strategy agency to create a new visual and modern e-commerce platform for the Parisian cashmere brand.

    She Is RebelI was in charge of The Rebel Times, the She Is Rebel blog for a year and a half before the site revamp. I also managed the pop-up store in Paris (visual merchandising and interns) and participated in the most recent photoshoot, helping source creatives.
