In my current role at Hodes, I am responsible for blog creation on behalf of clients including Dixons Carphone, Enterprise and Unilever. This involves creating solid content angles, interviewing senior stakeholders across the businesses and writing up a concise account of their experiences at their company, aligned with clients’ brand values, tone of voice, etc. For example, the Unilever blogs I produce are seen by over two million people via their LinkedIn page. I also manage all freelancers; this includes writing briefs, editing and proofreading their pieces and giving constructive feedback. My social experience here has seen me help to create the global Unilever Careers content strategy, including writing the content strategies, constructing content calendars and finally editing the social copy itself. I also ensure a Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook post is added to each blog I write, for posting purposes. Together with the content team, we collaborate with the creative team to source relevant visual media to add to social posts. I also work with the team to analyse posts that have performed well and review our strategy going forward.
