About me
I am creative and hardworking, bringing enthusiasm to everything I do. I feel I positively contribute to creating a good working environment. I am computer literate including Adobe software and in my current job as an Art Technician I do a variety of tasks that require teamwork, organisation and using my initiative. I have been involved in the Guide association from a young age and have now been an assistant leader for 6 years. I graduated with a 2:1 BA Hons in Creative Arts at Bath Spa University and want to develop a career within the creative field.
Projects
  • Illustration, print and weave
Illustration, print and weaveA collection to show what I am about. I love colour, pattern and texture.
  • Warp Around The Park
Warp Around The ParkFor my visual dissertation in my degree I looked at arts within education. I am passionate to give children the opportunity to be creative, this is something pushed out of curriculum very easily. I planned and taught a series of weave workshops inspired by nature and the outdoors. I used Dyrham Park, a National Trust property near Bath as inspiration and used their grades to display the woven sculptures outside.
  • Degree Work
Degree WorkA collection weave, print and illustration inspired by the flora and fauna of Tenerife. I wanted to create a Tenerife environment and focused on pattern, texture and colour within space.

     -
Creative Arts encourages an entrepreneurial approach to creative practice through the exploration of two disciplines. Being practical and expressive allows ideas to flow freely and be as creative as possible. All work is supported by sketchbook and research work to broaden the creative mind and bring together cohesive ideas. This work has been supported and enriched by trips to visit galleries, workshops and trade shows in London and Paris.
