Had the fortune of a week long internship at the Barbour showrooms in London. This involved helping out with the promotion of their AW/15 collection to potential buyers from high profile clients such as Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Libertys, ASOS and Harrods. The event itself included working closely with the prodcution team to coordinate and manage the male and female models backstage to ensure they were ready to be presented to the buyers and were fully representing the brand. I really enjoyed this experience with Barbour and the opportunity to work in their showrooms in London.
Worked voluntarily as a fashion intern for the Vau Vau Fashion Show Part II: Circus at the Left Bank Church in Leeds. This consisted of helping to coordinate the marketing and aiding of ticket sales before the event with the event founder. I also helped to cast a male model to walk in the event at short notice. The show included a range of brands and designers including Loving Youth, Horsebird and Eustratia as well as special guest Alysha Nett.
My University education has covered Event Finance, Event Marketing, Themed Events, Business and Entrepreneurship, Event Strategy Process, Human Resources Management, Event Law and administration, Event Production, Event venue environment, Festival Management, Event Stakeholder behaviour, Professional Event Solutions and Operations and project management.
