About me

I am a freelance print and textile designer. Using an eclectic mix of hand drawing and digital creations on beautiful fabrics and textile based mediums. My skills have been refined from working for names such as Versace, Peter Pilotto and Ralph&Russo. They allowed me to explore my imagination, emotions and reactions through visual recordings that then become the foundations of the designs. The various medias I work with include; digital and screen prints, jacquards, laser cut and surface embellishment. Production knowledge and skills are also a part of my foundation having experience working with suppliers in Italy as well as more commercial roots in China and Turkey.

      Print designer

      Ralph & Russo

      Nov 2015 - Sep 2017
      • London, United Kingdom
      • Full Time
      • On joining Ralph & Russo I established their first print and textile department. My role consisted of working directly with the creative director to produce creative and original designs that worked within the brands DNA and specific clientele demographic. My design versatility spanned over the couture, accessories, clients and the new RTW collection, creating a variety of prints, jacquards and screen print based designs. My skill set is vast from using various software and hand drawing mediums to co-ordinating a small team to work between the design studio and our in house atelier were the couture pieces are made. A key part to my role was production and quality control as well as developing new bridges between ourselves and quality suppliers to source the luxury fabrics we required.

      Peter pilotto

      • Full Time
      • At Peter Pilotto I had two key roles; first was designing the prints and jacquards using various design techniques and mediums to fabricate the creative directors vision. My second role was to lead the print team in co-ordinating the print production for all the print/jacquard looks, turning the samples into cost efficient artworks for the production pipeline. This would include adjusting technicalities for aesthetic purposes, colour calibrating and working fabric consumptions as well as acquiring strong communication skills between the production team in order to fit within tight deadlines and budgets.
