Eric Down is a London based menswear style director, shoot producer and journalist with extensive experience producing and styling main fashion, covers, celebrity portfolios as well as still life fashion, grooming and watch editorials. A multi-disciplinary creative and visual story teller, Eric’s skill set incorporates in-depth experience in all aspects of shoot production, from ideation, pitching, location scouting, to casting, talent negotiation and art direction. Formerly Style Director at Men’s Health UK, Eric’s work has featured in international editions of Men’s Health, (including Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Australia, South Africa, Croatia and China) communicating with a global audience of men. A two-time nominee for ‘Best Stylist’ at the Fashion Monitor Awards, his styling work has also featured in Harper's Bazaar UK, Schön, and The Times Weekend. Eric collaborates regularly with a talented network of photographers and creatives styling talent from the worlds of music, sport and acting.

Style Director of Men's Health UK, where I had ownership for planning, producing and styling all fashion content for 11 issues per year, biannual sports luxe fashion supplement and annual watch supplement. Experience includes editorial planning, pitching of editorial plans, conceptualising and pitching visual treatments, engaging photographers and creative teams, casting models, celebrity talent sourcing/negotiation, location scouting and booking, prop sourcing and styling, set and prop build commissioning, art directing, budget management, liaising with syndication office, editing and final checks on all layouts. Had management of two direct reports. Worked closely with commercial department to nurture advertiser relationships, attract new business and manage advertiser editorial credits. My role was client facing and I represented the magazine at international fashion weeks, trade shows and press events.
